BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT PROCESS  Pharmacists are actively involved in the behavior management process for developmentally disabled clients.  They perform the following actions:

  Review drug regimens.
 

  Participate in bi-monthly inter-disciplinary team psychotropic medication reviews.
 

  Participate on the Behavior Management Committee. This is an oversight committee charged with seeing that clients are provided services and programs which are the least restrictive and to the extent possible reflect the norms of the community and home. This committee reviews and approves all Behavior Management Plans for clients receiving psychotropic medication.
