PSYCHOLOGY SERVICES
 

MISSION:  To provide psychology services to persons with mental health, developmental disability, substance abuse, and related mental health needs while always seeking ways to improve quality.

The scope of psychology services available to clients include specific procedures in the areas of diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment.

Psychology services are provided to identified clients in the following areas:

     Forensic Services
     Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
     Adult Mental Health Services
     Mental Retardation and Developmental Disability Services

Providers of psychology services include professional staff working in Behavior Technician, Behavior Specialist, Psychologist, and Forensic Psychologist positions. Training, work experience, and education requirements vary according to the position, to the applicable professional standards, and to the needs of the clients served. Providers licensed by the State of Georgia to practice psychology at an independent level provide professional supervision to other psychology practitioners.
