PUBLIC RELATIONS
 
MISSION:  The mission of the Public Relations Office is to promote the efforts of Central State Hospital to provide quality services to its clients and effectively communicate the mission and vision of the hospital to others.
 
VISION:  To ensure that Central State Hospital maintains a positive relationship with the community.
 


Functions of the Public Relations Office

  Plans, implements and coordinates public awareness campaigns, activities and projects for Central State Hospital.

  Manages the production of Central State Hospital’s bi-monthly newsletter (The Bulletin) and other printed informational material for internal and external communications.

  Coordinates and/or assists in the coordination of special employee morale programs such as Employee Recognition, Employee Appreciation Day, and the monthly retirement ceremony.

  Educates the public and interested parties about the activities of Central State Hospital.

  Manages media relations, distributes press releases, and answers inquiries about Central State Hospital.

  Coordinates Central State Hospital’s participation in charitable contribution programs.

  Coordinates  tours of the Central State Hospital campus and museum.

  Works closely with the Central State Hospital Foundation, Inc. in fundraising efforts.
